YOUR DATA

Your own log. A host you trust.

Jiggered keeps personal check-ins and symptom episodes separate for each account. That separation is an app access control; it does not stop the server operator from accessing the database and backups.

Accounts and administrators

Admin screens manage accounts and show account details and record counts, rather than other people's log contents. Administrators can reset passwords and download a full database backup containing everyone's records. Use an instance and administrator you trust.

Copies on your device

Offline use stores unencrypted device copies and unfinished drafts in browser storage. A fully offline device cannot learn about remote session revocation until it reconnects. Signing out clears the shared browser device copy. Read offline saving and sign-out behavior before using a shared device.

Exports and backups

JSON downloads, CSVs, recovery files and printed summaries may contain private health information. Server backups contain account data as well as logs. Keep these copies secure and choose what to share. The export guide explains the available formats and note controls.

Deleting your account

Account deletion removes your account's records from the active server database. It does not erase copies already exported, shared or held in earlier operator backups. Download what you need first, and ask the operator about backup retention and deletion practices.

External services and links

The app uses self-hosted fonts and does not load third-party analytics trackers. An operator may configure email delivery, remote backups, or a reverse proxy with its own logs. Their providers and practices depend on the instance. Following an external link, such as the original Spoon Theory essay, takes you to a separate website.

Ask your operator

This explanation describes the app's behavior, not a complete operator-specific privacy policy. Before entering sensitive records, ask who runs the instance, how to contact them, which providers they use, and how long logs and backups are retained.

Jiggered is a personal log, not a medical device or a source of medical advice. See access and release status before getting started.
