DAILY ENERGY

Track your energy. Make your budget personal.

Jiggered is a personal energy and symptom tracker for people whose energy varies from day to day. Record a daily check-in, activities and rest, then look back at your own observations.

A check-in that meets you where you are

Choose green for your normal plan, amber for a reduced plan, or red for essentials only. Your check-in adjusts that day's starting points budget using your chosen settings. You can also record poor sleep and its effect on your planned budget.

Points are estimates you set for yourself. They are not calories, a medical measurement, or advice about how much activity is safe.

Record what takes energy and what feels restorative

Tap a saved activity to record it. A positive cost spends points; a negative cost records your estimate of recovery. A zero-point entry records an activity without changing the balance. You can personalize activity names and costs in Account.

A fictional day

Alex starts with a personal budget of 10 points, records preparing a meal at a cost of 2, and has 8 points left in the log. Later, Alex records a quiet break as −1, making the recorded balance 9. Those numbers are Alex's estimates, not a claim that a meal or break has the same effect for everyone.

Your balance can fall below zero or rise above the starting budget. The number describes what you recorded; it is not a target or a recommendation to do more. Earlier days keep their recorded allowance when you change your settings.

Think about your energy in spoons?

Spoon Theory, created by Christine Miserandino, uses spoons as a metaphor for the limited energy available when living with chronic illness. If you find that idea helpful, Jiggered offers a way to record your own budget and activities using personal points.

Read Christine Miserandino's original Spoon Theory essay, or explore our guide to Spoon Theory and personal energy budgets. There is no universal spoon scale. In Account → Profile → Energy language, you can choose Spoons and save your profile. In this optional display theme, one spoon represents one point; your budgets, calculations and past records keep the same numbers.

Review patterns without turning them into a diagnosis

History brings together your check-ins, activity points, poor-sleep records and symptom episodes. Compare recorded days and periods, while remembering that missing entries are not evidence of symptom-free days or good sleep. Patterns in your log do not establish causes.
