A Visible alternative with no wearable
Visible pairs a heart-rate band with an app for pacing. Jiggered is a free, open-source log where you set your own energy budget and record what happened, with nothing to wear. They suit different people.
This comparison is based on Visible's public website at the time of writing (October 2026). Check their site (opens in a new tab) for current details and pricing.

When to choose Jiggered
- You do not want to buy or wear hardware, or you want to start today.
- You want a budget that is entirely your own estimate, with no algorithm deciding your limit.
- You want to keep records on a server you control.
When to choose Visible
- You want objective heart-rate data to guide pacing, rather than relying on your own estimates.
- You want a service built specifically around pacing for energy-limiting conditions.
Jiggered's points are estimates you set for yourself. They are not a medical measurement. Read the guide to Spoon Theory and personal energy budgets to see how personal budgets work.
Frequently asked questions
Does Jiggered need a wearable?
No. Everything is entered by you, so it works on any device with a browser.
Can I use both?
Yes. Some people keep a wearable for heart-rate data and use Jiggered for planning and a record they own. Jiggered does not import wearable data.
